Function description

The meatballs come directly from production on a product conveyor and up to a multihead weigher with 14 bowls, where they are weighed and precisely dosed in kilograms. The correct amount per kilogram is then transferred and down into a GEA bagging machine that seals the bags. Afterward, the bags go through a rumbler and on to be checked through a metal detector for weight verification. With the help of a Lantech case erector and a CPS case packer, the meatballs are packed into boxes. Lantech's case closer prepares the boxes for closing and labeling and further on to palletizing with an Okura robot, which palletizes from two lines using a vacuum robot tool.

"Our facility from Sealing System for packing fried meatballs includes conveyors, multihead weigher, GEA bagging machine, x-ray, check weigher, box erector, CPS case packer, and fully automatic palletizing. The line operates approximately 12-15 hours every day.

Sealing System thoroughly familiarized themselves with our production during the design phase, and extensive tests were conducted in Denmark to ensure that the machinery and equipment performed as required, before shipping and on-site installation. Assembly and startup went as planned, without delays.

Since 2018, the line has been running stably, with few errors or defects. When challenges arose, Sealing System was quickly available to help. We have periodic servicing of the facility, which is scheduled well in advance with Sealing Systems. During these services, our technicians and operators are involved, so we always learn more about the facility from the experts!

The line and the collaboration work very well!”
