Sealing System has delivered, installed and integrated a complete packing and palletizing solution at Globus Wine. The system packs and palletizes bag-in-box wine in different sizes and in different types of packaging on quarter pallets and EUR pallets. It is a reliable solution for handling many different products for the customers.

The solution
The solution
The solution consists of product conveyors with products being conveyed to a Meurer Wrap Around / Tray packer. The products arrive from the filling process in 2, 3 and 5L wine cases – 30 cases per min.
A Meurer Wrap-around machine groups and packs the wine in wrap-around trays of 4 and 6 each and groups and pattern-builds in tray 400x600mm (1/4 pallet size)
1/4, 1/2 and EUR pallet magazines have been installed on the line. The magazine for ¼ pallets has extra buffering space, making room for about 30 plastic pallets. The pallets are separated automatically in the magazine. An Okura palletizing robot places the cartons on the desired pallets. The pallets are film wrapped using a Lantech stretch wrapper.
